There are actually two gauges in this pattern - you can choose to use EITHER Merisoft, OR Pastaza. You don’t need both for this.

The idea for Sakura was simple – I wanted to knit purses. But not just any purse – online, I saw all the pretty sewn purses people were making with metal frames, and I knew I had to find a way to make it my own. In Sakura, I combine the “traditional” clutch shape with a solid combination of colors and textures – bumpy knitting, slick metal, and smooth fabric. This purse is easier to work than it looks, and what you get is a solid purse that can take a lot of punishment, and is still delicate enough for a variety of occasions!

This pattern comes in two different gauges and 3 purse frame sizes – 6″, 8″, and 10″, with or without a chain, and with or without a pocket. So that gives you… about 24 different combinations in one pattern!

I think you’ll have a lot of fun making this clutch! I sure as hell did. ^_^
