This pattern is textured over the entire tam and is easy enough for an intermediate beginner.

If you want a larger size use a larger needle or increase the number of stitches cast on by 6 - for a smaller size, decrease the number of stitches cast on by 6. The increase or decrease of stitches will change the numbers in the decrease rounds by 6.

Materials needed are 16-inch circular needles in sizes 7 and 9.
Double pointed needles in size 9
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Stitch marker to mark beginning of rows

This tam can be made with one skein of yarn if there are at least 200 yards in the skein.

Worsted weight yarn - model was knit in Cascade Pacific but most any worsted weight yarn will work.
