This oversized cable cardigan is designed to wrap (“maku” in Japanese) you in a delicious chunky knit. It is made of one simple rectangular piece. A provisional cast-on method is used to work one side of the garment, then stitches are later picked up to work the other side in order to place the cable motif neatly at the centre back of the garment.
You can customize by adding an extra number of stitches for the stockinette stitch section to increase the length of the garment.

You can get a printed pattern from here.
