This is a pattern for a traditional Tammy Hat/Beret with a modern twist.

To fit a medium size head (approximately 22-23” circumference).

A tension swatch should be knitted using the charted pattern to the correct gauge. Failure to do this may result in the finished item being smaller or larger than required.

I knitted this hat using scraps of Shetland 2ply Jumperweight wool. You will need 6 different shades of the same colour. I would recommend Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumperweight wool for this project.

Total Yardage should not exceed 230m or 250 yards.
