As we venture to Middle Earth with our deSTITCHnation Yarn Club, guest designer Kristy Childress knit this lacy beanie inspired by vast forests and wild woodlands. Fingering weight yarn held double creates a cozy fabric for this hat in a classic leaf lace stitch pattern.

Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Cheshire Cat” light fingering weight, 100% superwash merino, 512 yds, 4 oz: 1 skein. Shown in limited edition colorway “Rivendell”

Needles & Notions: US size 6/ 4mm circular needles, 16” long AND US size 7/ 4.5mm circular needles, 16” long & dpn (or your preferred method for working in the round) OR size needed to get proper gauge, stitch marker, yarn needle
