Sweater is worked in the round from the bottom-up to sleeve edges, then split and worked flat. Sweater is rejoined for working in the round during shoulder shaping before separating at the center front neck to work neckline shaping flat. Neckline is picked up and worked in the round, as are sleeves.

When working a section, hyphens (-) mean to skip that portion. Due to the nature of this stitch pattern, it is essential to block your swatch. An ordered photo reference of each portion of the sweater worked can be found as a separate PDF in the downloads portion of the pattern.
