What am I missing?
Man Thing
When your husband calls you from work asking “Honey, make me a hat. It’s freaking cold in here!” you don’t delay, you make it, right? The correct answer to this one is “Yay! Let’s cast on for a new project and forget about all the WIPs!”. Unless the husband isn’t on his worst behavior :-)
So that’s exactly what I did. :-)
I made a hat that’s worked seamlessly in the round. It starts with 2x2 ribbing. After completing ribbing the hat is worked in simple pattern based on knit and purl stitches.
The beanie is designed to fit a biggish man’s head like my husband’s, so if you wish to make it more shallow I’d recommend starting decreases about half an inch earlier.
