This pretty Mandala Coaster was requested by a fellow Crocheter as a wedding gift.

We have a round of tulip stitches worked into the coaster that fit around the outside edge of a standard coffee mug base or cup.

This pattern requires less than 29 yards of Stone Washed yarn to make and is approximately 5.75 inches in diameter upon completion.

Feel free to substitute other yarns and hooks for this pattern. I recommend you use the hook suggested on the yarn label of your choice. If your inner 3 rounds do not rest flat on a flat surface you will need to change your hook size. If they ripple (wave out) you need to go down a hook size. If they begin to roll up (cup up) then you need to go up a hook size.

Have fun with this pretty Mandala Crochet Pattern. I can’t wait to see what you all make! If you are on Instagram, I did share this there in September as a slide-show - so pop over so you can work on this on the go too :slightly_smiling_face:
