Paisley has been a favorite textile design of mine for a VERY long time, but it was only when I was trying to think of a name for this shawl that I realized paisley is designed after mango seeds! :)

Worked all in one piece, the garter body is worked “top-down” and the textured, cabled paisley border worked sideways along the length of the body, connecting to the body as it is worked so that the resulting shawl involves minimal bind-off and no seaming! The one-skein version measured 13” deep and 32” from deepest point to tip.

The Mango Seed Shawl is the bonus pattern in “VBM Shawl Collection 9 - Textiles”, it is available only as part of the collection and will not be available for individual purchase. To purchase, click on the “VBM Shawl Collection 9 - Textiles“ link above and purchase the collection.
