When my friend requested that I knit him a brown, gold and cream argyle sweater vest for his birthday I couldn’t resist! I love argyle, so I decided to make him a classic vest with a twist.

The vertical argyle band requires both intarsia and fair-isle skills, so it is not for the knitter who is faint of heart.

But the results are hot and your man will love it!
