This is a slightly parallelogram shawl or wide scarf, knit on the bias, so that it gently hugs the shoulders and stays put. You won’t find it crawling off toward the knees from the slightest breeze. It also works well as a scarf, and is easily modified in both width and length. Instructions are both written and charted, and are easily memorized, making this an excellent travelling project or prayer shawl. It is very straight forward and is lots of fun, both for the beginning knitter or the more experienced. And the textured pattern and angled sides will keep it interesting. This is suitable for many yarns, but is especially nice with a long repeating patterns.
