I designed this cowl for International Women’s Day Celebration. It is an easy pattern, worked in a repeated sequence largely without a beginning or end of round.

I wanted the knitter to enjoy the yarn and be in the moment during this knit. From the Mountain Yarn is handspun cashmere from Afghanistan - a yarn company that helps women who would otherwise struggle to find work.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Skills Utilized: knitting in rounds, basic increases and decreases.

This pattern uses the entire skein. But gauge is not overly important as you work until you have 10 yards to do the last row and a bindoff. It does not much matter where you stop.

If you want to change the yarn weight, just pick a needle that is about 2 sizes larger than requested on the ball band.
