Even after making it many, many times, I’m still fascinated by the construction of the traditional Irish Crochet leaf.

The Maple Leaf is an extreme variation on that traditional leaf. It uses the same construction technique: work one side of the leaf, rotate to work the other side, then turn to crochet the next row.
