Maple Leaf Shawl
A versatile lace pattern with Maple Leaf motifs, adaptable to many yarn weights from cobweb on up. Size may be tailored to suit the available yarn. Shapes: either square or zigzag-edged ( with a 3/4 version of either, an option ) ! Worked in the round from the center out, or the 3/4 version is worked back and forth to give a shoulder-hugging shawl. The pattern is both charted and written row by row. Little finishing needed, but requires blocking.

Size - infinitely variable to suit yarn / time constraints

Yarn - Cobweb weight yields a shawl; Aran weight yields an afghan

Techniques - basic lace knitting, mitered corners
