Maple Street is home to most of the UofA’s sorority houses, and this messenger bag was inspired by them. Large enough to be functional (felted, it’s wide enough for most laptops) but with unique and interesting details to add a little individuality and style, this piece has infinite creative possibility!

Note: I used 3 skeins each of two colors in the Brown Sheep - if you use a different yarn, you’ll need about 360 yards each of two colors of bulky-weight feltable fiber.

This is pattern #3 in the Local Flavor collection. The designs in this collection were inspired by the town I live in and love. Photos are shot around town, and supplies, props, and additional garments are also local (to the best of my ability).
