Carol Sulcoski graciously designed the beautiful Maplewood Cardigan for the Valley Yarns 40th Anniversary Guest Designer series. Made for warmer weather (or those who just run hot) this simple open-front cardi was designed in Northfield hand dyed by Malabrigo with a loose-fitting body and barely-there cap sleeves. To save time in the knitting and finishing, the cardigan is constructed in one piece from the lace edging up, with only two short seams at the shoulder.
