The Maquereau Beret is inspired by the magnificent mackerel sky cloud formation. It features a variation on the Butterfly Stitch, and is a great way to showcase beautiful variegated colorways against a contrasting solid. Worked in warm but light Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend, this set is ideal for those bright, brisk days in late winter and early spring.

Colors shown are African Grey (MC), and Peach Melba (CC). One skein in each color is enough for both the Beret and the Mitts in all but the largest size.

Notions: Stitch holder; tapestry needle.
