Maraschino (marr-ə-SKEE-noh) is a clear, relatively dry liqueur made from Marasca cherries, including the crushed pits which give it a subtle bitter almond flavor.

Simple bottom-up shawl starts from just a few stitches and can grow as wide as you want. Any yarn can be used. Finished shawl stretches a lot during blocking.

Red Shawl: one skein of Sweaterkits Silk Jewel, US 6, 65”x 16”, beaded tassles.
