What’s in a name? The marble comes from the lovely hand dyed, semi solid yarn. The columns come from the straight lines made by the lace stitches.

The pattern is a 7 stitch/4 row repeat. To make it longer add stitches in groups of 7. If you want it taller add rnds in groups of 4.

The gauge is not really critical. The only “rule” is to make sure that the larger needle is 3 sizes bigger then the smaller needle. This allows the lace to really bloom.

I suggest using a 24” circular needle.
