Marcella’s Evening Gown was originally designed for the runway in the decadent style of the 1940’s. After an incredible response from the public we decided to release the pattern so you can knit your own vintage showstopper.

This luxurious gown is a surprisingly simple knit with a special focus on the finishing details. The Marcella Dress is knit in sumptuous yarn at a large gauge for an incredible hand feel and drape.

The belt is made separately and hand beaded then the whole ensemble is topped off with a sparkling turban style headpiece.

This dress is knit in one piece from the top down, beginning with one yarn then holding two together. The colors are then melded together by holding two colors together then eventually switching to two strands of the same color for the lower portion of the skirt.
