The March Hare Mitts are crazy cute. A welted, sideways-knit cuff is echoed in the i-cord bind-off, while sweet pom poms in a contrasting colour add a bit of fun. Matching design elements can also be found in the March Hare Hat for a cozy set that knits up quickly. These comfy little mitts will keep your hands toasty, but won’t add so much warmth that they can’t be worn in milder climates.

Yarn required: One 100g skein in each of two contrasting colours of DK weight yarn will make both the March Hare Mitts and March Hare Hat. Otherwise, 120 yards MC and 5-10 grams CC.

Difficulty: Ambitious Beginner to Intermediate. Requires 3 needle bind off, picking up stitches, and i-cord bind off. Photo tutorial included for pom pom attachment.
