Seeds & Cables is not your every day cabled sweater. The traveling cables stair-step from waist to shoulder on a seed stitch ground in this man’s mock-turtleneck pullover. Ribbing frames the stitch pattern at the bottom edge, the wrists and the neck. Although the stitch pattern appears to be complicated, it is, in reality, well within the capabilities of the intermediate knitter. The front, back and sleeves are knit flat and assembled before the neck is knit in the round. The soft, warm fabric is comfortable alone or layered as climate dictates.
