(ERRATA - the pattern should read to end after row 14 of the cable pattern - please bear with me. I hope to have the correct copy of the pattern up shortly).

This is a practical hat disguised as a fashion accessory! The cabled band is knit with yarn held double to keep the ears nice and warm, while the upper section is knit single-stranded for excellent drape.

The optional edging completely encases the bottom edge of the brim, giving the hat extra structure and comfort with a professional finish.

Pattern includes chart and written instructions for the cable.
