A split neck, sideways knitting, and a unique openwork pattern give bohemian appeal to this lacey tunic. Top is worked back and forth from stitches picked up from two central lace bands.

Yarn Madelinetosh Tosh Lace (100% merino wool; 950 yd 869 m/3½ oz 100 g): chamomile, 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins.

Needles Bands—size 2 (2.75 mm). Body and sleeves—size 6 (4 mm): 32” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Stitch holders; tapestry needle; removable markers; smooth waste yarn in contrasting color (for blocking).
