Knitting Pattern for a raglan sweater with a classic fit, but a very special cable pattern consisting of increasing and decreasing cables in sizes XS/S | S/M (M/L | XL) 3XL | 4XL.

Structure:
The sweater is worked top down with raglan increases in one piece: First, the yoke is worked back and forth in rows to shape the round neck. Then, the front parts are joined and the yoke is finished in the round. After the sleeves are separated from the body, the body is worked in the round too and finished off with a hem in 1x1 ribbing with twisted knit stitches. Afterwards, the resting sleeve stitches are picked up and the sleeves are worked in the round and finished with cuffs in 1x1 ribbing with twisted knit stitches too. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline and a double folded collar in 1x1 ribbing with twisted knit stitches is attached to the neckline.
The whole sweater is worked in a cable pattern with increasing and decreasing cables. This creates a dynamic, flowing look and the classic cable pattern design is interpreted in a modern and very special way. Due to the classic shape and the classic details like the round neck and the raglan construction, the sweater is still a very classic wardrobe staple (with a special twist of course).
The fit of the sweater is slightly oversized with a positive ease of 5 to 15 cm. The length is slightly cropped to create a modern look and to make the sweater a perfect fit for high waisted jeans, skirts and pants. The highlight of the sweater is the special cable pattern.
