I found the pattern for this blanket in one of my grandmother’s German stitch libraries. I adapted it a little, to create this lovely cable lace blanket pattern.
I call it Mariele’s Cable Lace Blanket, in honor of my grandmother, who was an amazing crafty lady.

The pattern comes in three different sizes:

Receiving: approx. 40” x 40” or 102 cm x 102 cm

It is made with Aran weight yarn, also known as Worsted, Afghan or 10 ply, and will knit up quite quickly.
