The red pair are trimmed in a white akita dog fur handspun blend. The red is Juniper Moon. The two varigated pair are both handspun yarns. The Purpleish blue pair were made with Malibrigo yarn.

This yarn was Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine. I just did the ribbing in two color.

- There is a typo on the blogpage pattern. It should say Knit 8 rounds after the cuff ribbing, before the start of your thumb gussett.*
I knit most of these for myself or family so this is about a small to medium adult size. (I have very small hands but my grown daughters have larger and this pattern accommodates us all.)
Sorry I do not know the guage or yardage needed as I don’t keep track. I’ve never needed more than one skein of the purchased yarns mentioned.
This is just an adaption from my mothers basic mitten pattern. You can do the same for any mitten pattern. Just add ribbing on the hand and thumb instead of finishing them.
