Perfect for any type of weather, the Marigold Hat is a quick and easy knit using less than 1 skein of yarn. With a soft lacy edge, this hat is meant to hug your head. Adorn it with a crocheted flower (instructions included), a big button, and a bow or wear it solo. Whichever way you choose, it is a lovely fashion statement and adds a touch of style to your day.

Materials:
#4 worsted weight yarn, approx. 80 yards for hat and 25 yards for flower
Yarn used in pic 1 is Lion Brand Amazing Aurora; pic 2 is Paton’s Classic Wool Natural
Also a great choice is a cotton/linen blend; using a natural fiber or natural fiber blend will block the lace better than a 100% non-natural fiber yarn
U.S. Size 8 16-inch circulars
U.S. Size 9 16-inch circulars and dpns
Crochet Hook I for flower
Stitch marker
For a looser fitting hat, you can use U.S. Size 9 and U.S. Size 10 needles

Finished Measurements: 16- inch circumference at edge with lots of stretch; 8 inches high
Flower: 3.5” diameter
