In Norway, they believe that everyone has the right of public access to the wilderness; the freedom to roam. While I haven’t been fortunate enough to travel to Norway, my understanding is that Marka is not only the name of the forested area surrounding Oslo, but also describes the longing of escaping into the woods, even if just for a few hours.

These stranded mittens use just under half a skein of each color - perfect for stash busting or making a matching pair for a friend.
