Pattern notes:
This charming Convertible Crib-Toddler Bed size baby blanket was co-designed with Nancy Neidig for her niece, Julia, who gently requested the adorable snails seen in each motif. This blanket may be customized by knitting stockinette stitch in the squares of choice in place of the snail motif. The bold portion of the written instructions corresponds to the Snail Chart, which can be found on the last page of this pattern.
The blanket size may also be customized by adding or subtracting a row or column of snail motif squares. If a larger size is desired, add 32 sts to CO for each extra square (about 7”). If a smaller size is desired, subtract 32 sts from CO for each removed square.
(Please note: amount of yardage needed will need to be adjusted if making a larger or smaller blanket than sample.)
