Marlo is a cool, cable sweater that can be dressed down for daytime or dressed up for a night on the town! I knit mine with a School Products cashmere. This yarn normally gets 5 sts/inch, but to produce a slightly more open fabric I knit it at 4.75 sts/inch. For this sweater you want to choose a yarn with lots of drape. If you feel the urge to splurge go for cashmere. An equally lovely and less expensive alternative would be alpaca. also, any alpaca or cashmere blend would work. A knitter I know just cast on using Noro Cash Iroha which I think is a great choice for this design. I am really looking forward to wearing mine this coming Autumn and Winter and I look forward to seeing yours!
