Marrakesh is grandiose wrap with garter stitch and lacy chevron. Knitted in three colours of fingering weight yarn, this shawl is your playing ground for colour combinations.

Choose subtle colours for a classy wardrobe staple, or go wild with bold and spicy colours.

YARN
Madelinetosh Tosh Sock (100% Merino; 361 m / 395 yds per skein) in three colours. Shown in colourways Antler (MC1), Kelp (MC2) and Nutmeg (CC). Or similar fingering weight yarn.

AMOUNT OF YARN NEEDED
Main colour 1: 260 m / 285 yds
Main colour 2: 264 m / 289 yds
Contrast colour: 358 m / 391 yds
The amount of yarn is an estimate and will depend on your yarn and gauge.

NEEDLE
Size 4 mm / US 6 circular needle or size to obtain pattern gauge.

This shawl is worked flat but I recommend using an 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needle to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
