DESIGNED WITH a nautical theme for
relaxed summer days, this little jumper
is decorated with anchor and heart
motifs worked in stranded colourwork.
The garment is sized to fit girls and boys
aged three months to two years. The
body is worked in two rib patterns, and
is buttoned on each shoulder. Lisbet
Clements’ project is knitted in Snældan
2ply, which is a 4ply-weight blend of
Faroese and Falklands wool. Undyed
colours come in 100g skeins (394yd/skein), while the
dyed shades come in 50g skeins (197 yd/skein).

Note on tension:

27 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over
st st on 4mm needles. 27 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over
colour work on 4.5mm needles.
Note: Snældan yarn is designed tobe knitted with a slightly looser
tension than you might expect for a4ply, to allow for a little fulling to
happen in the washing process.
