This scarf was designed to be an easy knit for beginners- and so it is!
An interesting twist on a regular, old garter stitch scarf, this one has a triangular shape and long ties with pompom embellishments (though tassels or naked finales are also appropriate, if you are so bold). The scarf is knit from the tip of the triangle. The increases that begin each row make the triangular shape, and are explained in a tutorial included in the pattern. The long ties are knit right onto the base of the triangle, with no seaming necessary. Extra chunky yarn knits up fast and you will be done in no time!
