Pattern Information:
Approximate Hours to Complete: 10 hours
Tools: ≥80cm/32” circular needles one-two sizes smaller than recommended for chosen yarn weight (or double-pointed needle one-two sizes smaller than recommended for chosen yarn weight), optional: crochet hook one-two sizes smaller than recommended for yarn weight, tapestry needle, one stitch marker.
Materials: 250-350m/273-382 yds any main colour yarn you like, 50m(55 yds) colour A yarn for face, 50-75m(55-82 yds) colour B yarn for nose, paw pads and tail, black embroidery thread/yarn or safety eyes for pupils, stuffing, optional: felt for paw pads.
Total Meterage/Yardage: 350-475m/383-519 yds
Gauge: Gauge is not important. Simply knit on needles one-two sizes small than recommended for your chosen yarn weight so the stuffing does not show through.
Difficulty: advanced beginner – increasing, decreasing, knitting in the round using the Magic Loop Method, provisional cast-on using waste yarn.
