Soft garter stitch and bright, playful stripes make the Martini Party Shawlette fun to knit and fun to wear. The asymmetrical triangle starts at the point and increases down to the base; the side stripes are picked up and knitted.

The finished size has a wingspan of 44” and a center back of 22”. You can certainly block the shawlette more aggressively to obtain a looser fabric/larger shawl.

You will need approximately 425 yards each of two colors: I used two highly contrasting colors but you can certainly be more subtle or use a solid with a multi.

A 32” circular needle size US size 5 (3.75mm) is needed.

Good for Advanced Beginners, you need to know how to knit, how to knit in the front and back of a stitch, yarn over, and how to pick up stitches. This is also a great travel project.
