This is a pattern I wrote for a friend who was getting married. It uses a provisional top-down cast on, and is worked out from the center top of the long edge for the shoulders. This uses some advanced techniques, however the photo tutorials make it approachable for an advanced beginner.

I am biased, but I do love this pattern.
