Matai is a unisex hat with a unique slipped stitch stripe feature that was inspired by the Matai or black pine which is endemic to New Zealand. This hat works up quickly in DK or Worsted yarn. The pattern covers both yarn weights, in eight sizes, from Newborn through to Large Adult.
