This scarf has very quickly become one of my absolute favourite accessories. I had great fun knitting it, because as it grew I was able to wear it as I continued to work extra rows on the bottom! This came in really handy as we were going through a particularly cold snap at the time.

The pattern itself is great for beginners. It is knitted flat and just uses a combination of knit and purl stitches. I found that I easily memorised the repeat and so was able to watch TV and work on this at the same time with great ease.

It was knitted in Stylecraft Yarns Special 4-ply (100% premium acrylic) in colourway Parchment 1218. You can adjust the length of the scarf to be either longer or shorter to suit your own personal preference.
