Matros is inspired by sailor’s collar and neckerchief and can be worn as collar embellishment over a jacket or coat, or for dress up. Tie the ends together or use a woggle/slide, or why not a snap button.

Knitted in worsted/aran yarn in garter stitch it’s a quick project and suitable for both beginners and more advanced knitters.

Yarn quantity: 40m for smallest size, 120-131m/130-144yds for largest size of the main colour and 36-40m/40-44yds of contrast colour in largest size.
