A combination of moss and stockinette stitches creates this textured series of diamonds. The reverse stockinette side of the scarf is equally presentable.

The pattern is written with a single stitch worked in moss stitch on each edge. The finished dimensions are 6 inches x 59 inches.
Additional border stitches may be cast on for a wider scarf as was done in the blue scarf worked in Berroco Vintage.

Aran or heavy worsted yarn is suggested for this pattern. To simplify yarn selection, gauge is given for a stockinette swatch worked on US 8 (5.0 mm) needles. For a scarf with more drape, consider using US 9 needles.

Both written and charted instructions are included in the file.
For written instructions, print pages 1 – 4.
For charted instructions, print pages 1 and 5 – 7.

Red model is worked in Bernat Super Value Solids colorway Burgundy.
Pink model is worked in Malabrigo Worsted colorway Shocking Pink.
Blue model is worked in worsted weight Berroco Vintage colorway 51181 Blue Moon. Cast on 8 additional stitches, increasing each edge by 4 stitches to be worked in Moss Stitch. 7 inches (17.75 cm) x 59 inches (150 cm). Approximately 305 yards (279 meters) required.
