ColorJoy’s notes:
The Maximum version of Sally’s legwarmers has you stripe two colorways of Noro Kureyon slowly-self-striping yarn. I used one colorway that was entirely warm tones and one that was entirely cool tones.
These legwarmers are bold, and one might assume they would not “go” with much in a wardrobe. Instead, they seem to go with everything. Incredible design!
Of course, the pattern calls for all knit stitches, as per the main premise of the book. The legwarmers are knit stockinette in the round, which means rolled edges top and bottom. For those who wear legwarmers seriously most days of winter, and who know how to knit rib, you may choose to add a rib at the top and bottom. Four skeins of Kureyon include enough yarn to do this.
