This easy-to-wear poncho is made from two rectangles of stockinette stitch decorated with a few rows of a fun slip stitch pattern. There’s only one seam to sew. Finish off the edges with a few rows of garter stitch, and you have an uber-wearable layer of warmth.

Written with beginners in mind, the pattern includes a few skills that will bring your skills to the next level: working a basic slip stitch, picking up stitches, and knitting the neckband in the round.

Offered in two sizes: S/M and L/XL. Bulky weight yarn and large needles make this a quick knit.

Pattern includes written pattern, as well as a chart and schematic.
