Me and you and you and me
No matter how they toss the dice, it has to be
The only one for me is you, and you for me
So happy together

I can’t see me lovin’ nobody but you
For all my life
When you’re with me, baby the skies’ll be blue
For all my life

Me and You is the second shawl from the You & I shawl series. Like all the shawls in this collection it uses two colors. The birthstone colorways in my shawl represent two months that are important to me. Choose two birthstones that have significance to you, or just your favorite colors. My colors are both semi-solid (hand dyed solids), but you may use one solid and one variegated if you wish.

Find the yarn in the Fiddle Knits Fibers shop.

The shape of this design is an asymmetrical triangle. It is shaped using a series of short rows (instead of decreases). If you’ve never worked short rows before don’t be scared off! Grab a bunch of locking stitch markers and go for it. Everyone in the Ravelry KAL group is supportive and you’ll be able to find help from me and other KAL participants.

The gauge used on this shawl is the same as Better Together (the first shawl in the series). If you’ve already swatched and knit that shawl you should be good to go.

Techniques: knit, purl, slip stitches, short rows, cable twists
