I designed these socks because I love the German twisted stitches. I found two stitch patterns that worked well together in Überlieferte Strickmuster By Maria Erlbacher. I twined one of these cables around the leg to meet and become the second cable on the foot. The name Meander came from its definition of an ornamental pattern of intertwining lines. It is a fun pattern to work but pay attention.
