This quick, shoulder warming cowl is made with just 100 grams of DK weight yarn (pictured here in Knit Picks, Cotlin). It is worked in the round beginning at the neck with a narrow garter stitch edge. It then transitions into a lacy leaf pattern that becomes larger with each repeat of the motif. With just 70 rounds you create a cowl that gently conforms to the neck and then rapidly becomes wide enough to cover the shoulders. It is the perfect finishing accessory to a sleeveless summer dress–ideal for those who really feel the chill of air conditioning!
