Measure In Love
In remembrance of my sister Melly on her birthday, November 29th, I have designed a hat and cowl that I would love to knit and be able to give to her. I fondly remember watching Rent, the movie based on the musical, with my sister and singing ‘Seasons of Love’ together. Instead of focusing on the far too few years I had with my sister, I try to ”remember the love” and ”measure in love”.
All proceeds of this pattern will be donated to the National Woman’s Health Network (Tax ID 52-1081261) in Melissa’s name. For more information on this organization, please visit: http://nwhn.org/ In 2012, we were able to raise over $2,000 with the For Good Hat and I would love to be able to do so again!
Please knit the hat/cowl and give it to a loved one, to
”share love, give love, spread love” and
”measure your life in love”
as the song encourages us to do.
This textured and squishy hat/cowl features a simple, yet interesting lace panel surrounded by garter panels.
