Several years ago, my Meatballs and Macaroni Socks won a prize at the County Fair in the Original Knit Design category. I’ve revised the design and now offer it to you. Although the pattern is not strictly speaking a “tutorial,” I’ve included notes and recommendations to help you achieve a spectacular result while having a great time knitting up the socks. The Appendix includes a mini-lesson on doing a knitted cast on and grafting with the Kitchener stitch. I also include recommendations on how to avoid those unsightly holes and enlarged stitches when picking up stitches for the gusset.

I had a lot of fun designing these socks. I hope you have fun making them! As with all my designs, please contact me at the Email address listed on the top of the pattern if you have any questions as you knit your socks. I want you to have fun and end up with a successful outcome!

Thank you!
