I have three cats, so when Christmas rolls around it is difficult to put breakable ornaments on the tree. I love the look of ball ornaments, but again…cats…and nieces/nephews. So I took the concept of a Christmas ball ornament and flattened it a little.

This is very basic stitches in U.S. terms.

• Chain
• Double Crochet
• Sl st
• Cluster
• Sewing pieces together

The materials are also super easy. Most crocheters should have them on hand. I used scraps for the ones pictured.

• Scrap yarn (I used Red Heart)
• Scissors
• Fiberfil
• Size G hook
• Yarn Needle
