This pattern has fascinated me for a long time. I once saw footage of Jimi Hendrix and his girlfriend was wearing this shawl. I was totally delighted when I managed to find the pattern, years later.

This pattern was reprinted in Crochet! Magazine in July 2007 under the name “Age of Aquarius Wrap”.

This shawl appeared in the May 1975 issue of Woman’s Day, with two other shawls also designed by Ms. Henderson.
The instructions were to be sent away for for the cost of 35 cents, the same amount as the magazine was in those days.
